Stefano Sincini, the founder and owner of Pianirossi, is a man of major managerial talents, a key figure in the empire of Diego della Valle.
But Sincini, like many men of his generation, has conserved a passion for agriculture and for the countryside which has led him to invest in a winemaking property to which he gives much time and energy.

The estate, however, is not located in the Marches where, in the province of Macerata, the Della Valle enterprises are headquartered; Macerata is one of Europe’s major shoe-producing districts and agriculture is of only minor importance. Sincini, accordingly, chose to center his investments in Tuscany.

Pianirossi Accommodation The Pianirossi farm holiday accommodation is situated in the beautiful hills of the Maremma area, not far from Montalcino. The structure and the interiors are carried out using the traditional Tuscan architecture in brick with open beams, terracotta flooring and large windows that overlook the countryside around the farm and offer a truly unique view.
Both the farm holiday accommodation and the winery pay great attention to eco sustainability with a use of green building techniques and solar panels that ensure a ensure maximum result with a minimum environmental impact, while the design fully respects the surrounding countryside.
The comfortable suites are decorated in a uniquely personal way, thanks to the many souvenirs collected during the owner's travels, which create an intimate and original atmosphere.

Guests can either enjoy the view and sunbathe in the solarium or relax in the farm’s swimming pool, which is situated in a truly wonderful position. Many Tuscan cities of art, like Florence, Siena and Grosseto, or seaside areas like Castiglion della Pescaia or the Isle of Giglio, lie within easy reach of the farm; otherwise guests can simply go for long walks in the wonderful Maremma countryside.
The farm also serves a hearty breakfast in a large dining room or, during the summer, on the terrace. The dining room is used as a tavern during the day and serves traditional platters accompanied by the farm wines.

Tenuta Pianirossi Wines
Pianirossi is located in Cinigiano, the northernmost part of the province of Grosseto and not at all far from Montalcino. Here, in in addition to such international varieties as Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot, Sincini has chosen to plant not only such widely cultivated grapes as Sangiovese and Alicante, but the Montepulciano of his native region as well.
The result are unusual and interesting blends which have attracted much attention both for their originality and for their personality. Consultant Carlo Ferrini supervises both the vineyard and cellar work, and particular care has, from the very start, been given to environmental issues, questions to which Stefano Sincini has always given a central importance.
