La Tenuta
The Tenuta or estate of Montemagno is set in the midst of colourful flowering meadows and flavours of the grape harvest right in the heart of the Monferrato area; this farm lies in what has always been a wine loving area and wine production is in fact the primary activity of the Tenuta Montemagno.
The Doc and Docg wines produced here are the result of the extraordinary passion of Tiziano and Flavio Barea, the owners.
The land is the estate’s most valuable treasure as the vineyards stretch from the town of Montemagno to as far as Altavilla, Viarigi and Casorzo.

Farm holidays

Several tastefully furnished rooms, where great care has been given to detail, are available for accommodation inside the ancient walls of this estate. The care spent on tiny details is noticeable in all the bedrooms and furnishings.
The large rooms in this structure make it not only an ideal place for relaxing holidays, but also for corporate events and meetings, because one of the well equipped rooms can host up to 70 people.

The dining room is also very spacious and incorporates a smaller, more intimate room, suitable for various occasions.
The business areas are separate from those of other guests so that the requirements of all forms of holiday can be satisfied. Visitors who just want a quiet holiday can also choose from among the many activities available here: riding, walks in the garden, relaxation in the sauna or the whirlpool, or tasting the wines produced on the estate. Otherwise they can visit the various places of interest in the town of Montemagno.

Flats

Nothing is left to chance in the elegantly furnished rooms. The various bedrooms available can vary from Senior Suites to standard bedrooms.
Some flats include a living room, a kitchenette, a large bathroom and a double bedded sleeping area up in the internal loft, plus a minibar, pull-down TV, telephone and Internet connection.

Montemagno Wines

The rows of vines bearing some of the most famous grapes in Piedmont – the Grignolino, Barbera, Ruchè and Malvasia di Casorzo strains, alongside the Passito di Malvasia in the best years, and Sauvignon, Timorasso and Sirah grapes - stretch as far as the eye can see.
Tasting a good wine is not simply a moment of pleasure for the palate, because the tasting room itself has been designed around the huge West-facing window, which not only allows visitors to enjoy the colour of the sunsets, so similar to that of the wines, but also to warm their hearts. Entirely encircled by vineyards, the cellars themselves are built with recovered material and carried out in much the same style as the old farmhouse, thus making the landscape even more beautiful.
The barrique cellars contain the "woods" or casks that help enrich the Tenuta Montemagno wines, like the Mysterium Barbera Superiore and the Mysterium Barbera Riserva. The barriques, tonneaux and large barrels thus preserve and enhance their precious contents.
The TMBrut, whose splendid bubbles are created with an incredible selection of Barbera grapes, is refined on pupitres to produce a magical wine that is simply unique. A rosy petal pink, it boasts elegant and delicate aromas and is thus a surprise for those who love sparkling wines.
