The Muscat grape, which exists in a huge variety of different types, colors, and characteristics, is unquestionably one of the most popular in the entire world.
The grape is known locally as Muscat Bianco di Canelli. “Asti” in Piedmont is the city which has given its name to the very important Moscato d’Asti appellation and to the world-famous Asti Spumante wines.
Alessandro Boido is unquestionably one of the finest producers of Moscato today.

His Vecchia Vigna version has made it possible to rediscover and in fact shown that well made bottles can easily last and improve over the years.
The farm’s recent releases prove irrefutably that this is indeed the case: marketed often more than five years after their vintage, they lose none of their freshness and irresistible charm, while also adding a complexity and fullness that one would have thought impossible.
